Job Title: Regional Distribution Supervisor

Reports To: Distribution Manager  

Direct Reports: 
Distribution Officers
Responsible for: To supervise and manage regional team activities and processes in order to ensure an efficient, cost effective and professional delivery of services. 

Key Tasks

  • County Depot – set up and management of depot including recruitment and onboarding of the distribution officer.
  • Stock Management – oversee stock level maintenance, storage and dispatch as per the company policy.
  • Agent network management – oversee the recruitment, onboarding and relationship management of agents as per contracts.
  • Logistics Management - identifying and management of logistics providers as per quality assurance requirements.
  • Reporting – daily reports to immediate supervisor including three days of monthly status workshop at the head office.
  • Training – periodic training of agents with support from distribution officer
  • Customer complaint management – on ground support for customer complaint about quality assurance.
  • Relationship Management & company representation - maintain stakeholder relationship within respective territory.
 Key Performance Measures
  • Cost Minimization (key focus on logistics costs)
  • Product accessibility (sufficient distribution network)
  • Company efficiency (Processes and systems)
  • Team satisfaction and turnover.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
  • Degree in supply chain management and related fields
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ relevant supervisory experience in the sector.
  • SAP experience preferred

  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi‐task and work under pressure
Job Title: Agronomist
 
Reports To: Sales Supervisor 

Direct Reports: Promoters 

Responsible for: Responsible for supervising the day to day running of the regions sales, staff maximization to ensure the efficient delivery of its operations.  
Key Tasks
  • Strategy formulation – participate in annual planning and quarterly review of strategy
  • Recruitment of contractors – interviewing, selection, on-boarding and exit of the team in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Daily operations management – Set work schedule and ensure they are followed including on ground support where necessary as per agreed strategy.
  • Reporting – Daily reports to immediate supervisor including three days of monthly status workshop at the head office.
  • Training – periodic training of contractors with the focus on agronomy and sales skills.
  • Customer complaint management – on ground support for customer complaint about product use and efficacy.
  • Relationship Management & company representation - maintain stakeholder relationship within respective territory.

  • Sales Targets
  • Customer acquisition and maintenance metrics
  • Company efficiency (Processes and systems)
  • Team satisfaction and turnover.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in agriculture.
  • Minimum of 3 - 7 years of sales experience
  • Experience in Sales of Agricultural products.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Willing to travel widely throughout Kenya

Job Title: Customer Care / Telesales  Interns
 
Reports To: Customer Care Supervisor  
 
Function: Commercial Services

Responsible for: Customer support in understanding the products and identify solutions to fit their needs, generating sales and renewals, whilst continuing to achieve customer satisfaction levels.
 
Key Tasks
  • Telesales
  • Good Agriculture Practices Promotion (GAP)
  • Customer Complaints Management 
  • Enquiries Management
  • Marketing Support 
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
  • Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture
  • MUST be graduates from University of Nairobi, JKUAT and Egerton
  • Minimum of 1 years customer service experience in Telesales driven customer service organization
  • Able to speak one of the local languages fluently: Kikuyu, Kamba, Kimeru, Luhya, Kalenjin, and Kiswahili
