Job Description
Responsibilities will include
supporting the Africa Internet Group on all legal and regulatory issues across
East Africa, including:
- Drafting of and review of contracts with
partners and suppliers
- Assistance with HR compliance
- Conducting legal research
- Assisting with litigation or assertion
efforts
- Licensing efforts
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant
regulatory bodies
- Developing policies, processes and manuals
around compliance
- Providing advice and guidance on legal risk
exposure
Minimum Educational
Requirements:
- Law Degree and graduate from the Kenya School
of Law
- Holder of a valid Practicing Certificate
- Holder of CPS (K) will be an added
advantage
Required Experience:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a
corporate/commercial law environment in East Africa
- Admitted Advocate with a good understanding of
East Africa Law

- Fluent in both written and spoken English,
Swahili

- Very independent with a strong ability to go

- Excellent written and oral communication
skills
- Ability to understand new technologies with
ability to communicate with the technical community
- Being able to prioritize daily tasks
- Corporate Governance management skills.
