Position: Front Office Supervisor

Manages all the activities of the front office and maintain a full view of the hotel bookings, ensure records of guests, room occupancy, billing and receipts are updated, cleanliness of the front area are smooth process of quest check-in 


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining data on guest bookings and reservations check in and out in the system and preparing related report for the General Manager daily
  •  In liaison with the sales and FnB Departments monitor and harmonize provisional sales bookings and follow up to close deals
  • Ensure safe custody of guest luggage
  • Handling enquiries, the telephone service and complains
  • Directs clients/ guests to conference rooms and other facilities
  • Attending to visitors of the hotel (guests and visitors to other employees members and General Manager)
  • Managing the check in and check out of hotel guests
  • Give directions to guests on point of interest e.g. entertainment, shopping
  • Coordinating exertions upon customer requests
  • Managing bill business centre services

Requirements
  • Diploma in Front Office Operations
  • O level certificate
  • Knowledge of tourist attractions in Kenya
  • Basic knowledge in First Aid
  • 3-5 years’ experience in customer service
  • Good knowledge of the hotel product offerings, special packages and events for the various seasons
