Motivate We Consulting (MWC), is a
Human Resource Consultancy firm that provides top notch human capital
solutions.
We are hiring for the Junior Accountant position, for one
of our clients. (30-40k)
- Develop and maintain all necessary controls
and processes to ensure that legal and financial requirements and
regulations are complied with.
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day
financial and accounting processes, including transaction
postings/recording to Quick books system.
- Filling VAT, Standards Levy, Customs and
Excise, and all other Tax related returns.
- Overall payroll management and statutory
deductions management. i.e. N.S.SF, N.H.F, P.A.Y.E.
- Maintaining all stocks and inventory movement
records and reconciliations for better accountability.
- In charge of all accounts payables and
receivables; reconciliations and attending to any matters arising so as to
ensure the correct amounts are reflected.
- Collaborating with external auditors,
preparing their audit schedules, giving all the necessary information
during the audit and ensured prompt implementation of their
recommendations.
- Attending to monthly stock counts,
reconciliations and inventory systems’ reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least CPA 11
- Basic IT skills
- At least 2 years of post-qualification
- Demonstration of high level of integrity
- Basic Accounting skills
- Results oriented and self driven
- Attention to details
