Application for Loan
& Bursary for Financial Year 2014-2015
First Time Application
The Higher Education Loans Board invites applications for the 2014-2015
Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Loan and Bursary from
eligible applicants in the public Technical, Vocational Education and Training
(TVET) Institutes recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and
Technology [MoEST] and registered with KUCCPS.Eligibility
Students enrolled in
Approved TVET Courses and applying for TVET Loan and Bursary for the First
(1st) time.
How to Apply:
1. Applicants should
access and fill the 2014-2015 First Time TVET Loan Application Form [TLAF] from
the HELB websitewww.helb.co.ke.
2. Print TWO copies of
the duly filled Loan Application Form.
3. Have the form
appropriately filled, signed and stamped by the relevant authorities and
guarantors.
4. Sign the form and
attach all the necessary documents as indicated in the checklist appearing on
the last page of the TLAF. Leave one copy of the TLAF and all the attached
support documents with the Dean’s Office for free delivery to the Board
OR drop it personally
at the Board’s Office on 18th floor, Anniversary Towers OR any of the Huduma
centers nearest to you i.e. Eldoret, Embu, GPO Nairobi , Kajiado, Kakamega,
Kisumu, Machakos, Makadara, Mombasa, Nakuru and Nyeri.
5. Retain one copy of the duly filled TLAF (Mandatory).

The closing date for the TVET Loan & Bursary applications is on 30th November, 2014.
