Internal Auditor Assistant Job in Kenya - Government Jobs

The Judges and Magistrate Vetting Board was established pursuant to section 23 of the sixth schedule to the Constitution and the vetting of Judges and Magistrates Act 2011.

The objective of the board is to vet the suitability of all the Judges and Magistrates who were in office on the effective date to continue to serve in accordance with the values and principles set out in Article 10 and 159 of the constitution.

It shall operate for another period of two (2) years up to and including 31st December 2015.

The Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board seeks to recruit an officer for one year six months non-renewable contract, to fill the following position and a competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant:-

Job Description

Specifically duties entail, undertake a variety of auditing work of limited scope and complexity which will include audit of the annual accounts of the Board under the supervision of an Internal Auditor.

The officer may also be deployed to examine payment vouchers and may be assigned any other or responsibility the Office may deem appropriate.

Job Specification

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have;

(a) A Bachelor’s degree from any of the Kenyan universities or other recognized universities or institutions, preferably in fields relevant to the audit function such as Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant disciplines.

(b) Certificate of Public Accountants CPA 11 or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
