Human Resources Manager

The jobholder will provide support to the Human Resources Director in strategic and overall guidance on all human resource issues in the Company and ensure proper staff management and talent management for the achievement of company goals.

They shall be involved in cross cutting human resource issues and be hands on in the implementation of the human resources strategy.

The Human Resources Manager’s role will include the following:
  • Maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintaining human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Ensuring proper placement of staff and support in the boarding process.
  • Assisting the HR Director in managing employee benefits programs and informing employees on such benefits.
  • Assisting the HR Director in maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Assist in grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
  • Advising staff on work related processes including leave management, staff medicals, and other staff welfare issues.
  • Providing personal advice and counseling services to staff as per need.
  • Provide support in developing the HR work plan and budget and ensure adherence to set targets.
  • Ensure that employee statutory returns are submitted in time.
  • Spearhead the data capture in the Human Resource Information System and ensure all staff records are captured in the system and all documents vetted and filed.

Digital Sub Editor

The job holder will be responsible for generating online news content of the Company, manage the Company’s Online News platforms as well as create and implement various online news strategies. Business Executive - Citizen TV - Direct
Purpose: To generate revenue through Direct sales, new business and retention as well as training and supporting distribution channels in the assigned area.

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • To execute Direct sales activities and sell Royal Media products to clients and achieve the set sales targets.
  • To identify sales opportunities among clients and make use of upcoming business opportunities among the clients.
  • Understand emerging trends in sales as well as marketing conventions, customer needs and feedback.
  • Generate and present concepts as well as collect and process media orders so as to achieve set sales targets i.e. monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
  • Renewal and expeditious follow up on issues raised to ensure customer retention.
