Development / Sales Assistant
Reports to: Head of Business
Development
Location: Kisumu, Kenya.
Job Purpose: An upcoming Guest house in Kisumu is
currently looking to fill the position of Business development / Sales
assistant to conduct PR and marketing activities aimed at sensitising potential
clients about the establishment.
The main
duty will be to conduct an aggressive marketing campaign or strategy to drum up
more guests for the establishment.
This will involve (but is not
limited to):
- Identifying and developing strategic relationships with partners or potential guests by analysing the local and national market.
- Providing creative ideas for increasing sales.
- Understanding the requirements of the establishment’s clients and working together with the internal management to guide the direction of their services towards the guests.
- Setting up and managing social media accounts to target potential guests.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Two (2) years experience in the field of sales and marketing as well as computer literacy.
- Motivation for sales, professionalism, ability to meet sales goals, creativity.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Experience in handling social media accounts is preferable.
- Analytical, result-oriented, able to perform under pressure and provide excellent follow up.
- A high level of professionalism.
- Well organised and efficient.
- Handles pressure well.
- Self motivated and energetic.
