1 Position
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision of office services – telephone, cleaning, messengerial and registry.
- Allocation of office accommodation, furniture and equipment and keep records thereof.
- Effective management and administration of transport services including allocation of vehicles and supervision of drivers.
- Undertake coordinated maintenance of office buildings.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and servicing, cleaning services.
- Authorize vehicle journeys and administer work tickets.
- Insurance for motor vehicles.
- Settle utility bills – water and electricity – and keep records thereof.
- Coordinate security matters in the centre.
- Coordinate the conduct of the drills in consultation with the appropriate safety agent and put in place safety equipment like fire extinguishers.
- Discharge of postal services.
- Supervise communication services.
Requirements for Appointment
For
appointment to this grade an officer must have:
- At least three (3) years in the grade of Administrative Officer III or in a comparable position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Sciences from a recognized Institution.
- Part I of the Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya OR Diploma in Management from a recognized Institution.
- Computer literacy.
