Skyline Sacco soc ltd, Formerly Baringo Farmers Sacco is a small but growing Sacco society with (5) five branches within Baringo county, due to its growth there is need to increase its workforce so as to achieve its goals and objectives. 

The below positions are available to be filled by suitable candidates.

1) Micro-Credit Officer

Overall purpose: The position is responsible for the collection and management of the micro-credit performing and non-performing portfolios of the SACCO.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Effective monitoring of loan repayments & mitigating risks related to defaults and periodically reviewing the loan portfolio.
  • Make contact with defaulting customers either by calling or visiting them with an aim of negotiating settlement of arrears
  • Work closely with the loans officer and branch managers for effective management of the department
  • Prepare monthly reports to the management on the bad debts portfolio and make recommendations
  • Maintain all credit files and documents to ensure easy retrieval and safe custody
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with (SASRA) and implementation of effective KYC Procedures and controls
  • Any other duty assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications and competencies
  • KCSE C+(plus) and above
  • A bachelors degree in finance ,accounting ,banking or other related fields
  • Good marketing skills, communications skills, listening skills, planning and negotiation skills.
  • Certificate in credit management
  • High proficiency in the use of ms-office
  • Analytical skills, technical and problem solving skills
  • Relevant experience in micro-finance, SME is an added advantage
  • Age between 25-30 years
2) Accounts Assistant

Key responsibilities:
  • Filing and administration
  • Maintaining records and reconciliation  of books of accounts
  • Work closely with the accountant and the auditor in preparing and reviewing final books of accounts.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the management.
Qualifications and competencies
  • KCSE C+(PLUS) And above
  • Degree in any business related course
  • Minimum  CPA Part 2
  • Age between 25-30 years of age
  • Knowledge of ms office suite mandatory
  • A team player with flexible approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to operate independently with minimum supervision
  • High degree of maturity, integrity and professionalism
3) Security Officers / Wardens

  • O-level certificate
  • Computer literacy
  • Driving licence is an added advantage
  • Age between 30-40 years
  • High degree of maturity, integrity and honest.
  • Possession of Certificate of good conduct a must
