Technical Sales Executive

Our
client, a leading distributor of security products in East African region is
looking for a Technical Sales Executive due to the rapid expansion of their
operations.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Developing and
implementing marketing strategies to retain and attract new clients
- Preparing action
plans and schedules so as to identify specific targets and to project the
number of contacts to be made
- Identifying
sales prospects and other accounts as assigned
- Developing and
maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge
- Establishing and
maintaining current client and potential client relationships
- Preparing
paperwork for activating and maintaining contract services
- Managing account
services through quality checks and other follow-ups
- Preparing a
variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and
adherence to goals
- Communicating
new product and service opportunities, special developments, information
or feedback gathered through field activity to the Managing Director
- Developing
and implementing special sales activities to reduce stock
Qualification
and Experience
- Diploma in
Information Technology or related field
- Certificate
in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
- Minimum of
2 years experience in similar industry
- Proven
experience in technical
sales
- Good
communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding
organization and planning skills
- Self driven with
high level of integrity
