Business Development Officer
The
successful candidate is expected to exceed realistic sales targets as well as
manage and grow client relationships on multiple accounts.
The
person will be responsible for account revenue growth, and overall business
profitability in service delivery.
The
successful candidate will have the following responsibilities;
A.
Sales
- Generating
revenue for the company through acquiring orders for the products
developed
- Responds to new
business leads with innovative and well thought out proposals and
presentations.
- Capable of
selling the complete range of the company’s products.
- Communicates the
client's goals and represent the client's interests to the company.
B.
Project Management
- Contribute to
all ongoing project documentation, including budgets, schedules, client
contact reports during the life of the project;
- Proactively
sells and manages customer expectations and communicates project and
profit risks to the company and client;
- Initiates and
conducts project reviews and annual audits with clients.
C.
Client Management
- Nurture and
build supportive client relationships on client accounts.
- Consistently
provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Representing the
client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.
- Managing
targeted accounts and presenting a broad portfolio of business products
and services and show how you can enrich the customer experience and
increase spend.
- Building
relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business
opportunities.
- Owns the
contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
- Responsible for
all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client
deliverables and revenue.
- Planning and
writing proposals, and leading ongoing project presentations to clients.
- Responsible for
the success and satisfaction of the individual client relationships.
- Grows the client
relationship in terms of revenue generated and account profitability.
- Develops
position as confidante with senior managers within client organization, by
providing regular two-way communication between the client and company, to
provide strong company representation and set proper client expectations.
D.
Administration
- Reporting,
providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call
reports on a weekly basis.
- Share
information regarding competitor intelligence, success stories, and
customer feedback.
- Provide accurate
and comprehensive information regarding customer orders.
- Refer unresolved
customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
Required
skills
The
role requires well-developed people and business skills.
- A degree in
business related field preferably marketing is desirable.
- At least one
year experience in marketing a product.
- Strong people
skills as well as management skills are necessary for success in this role
