Stores Manager Career in Kenya

Our client is seeking to recruit a qualified stores manager

Successful candidate will be responsible for:-

Receipt and reconciliation of stock,
Generating order for purchase and maintaining stock in the stores

Monitoring loading and offloading of vehicles
Maintaining daily stock records and updating the finance department
Conducting monthly stock spot checks on vehicles and in stores
Ensuring quality of stock purchased
Liaising with the supplier
Stock department staff supervision.
General organization and maintenance of warehouse

Interested candidates must demonstrate as a minimum
  • Diploma in purchases and supplies management
  • 2 years experience in a busy warehouse, in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer packages.
Personal Attributes:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and verbally with external parties and senior managers.
  • Have good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A self-starter with excellent organizational, planning, controlling and interpersonal skills.
  • Staff supervisory skills
  • Must be a person of high integrity.
  • Must be a team player
