Purpose of the position:
Co-ordinate the drilling team to drill/service boreholes together to completion, to the desired specified standards that conforms to the outlined GoK, WVK, Hydrogeological report, and other stake holders in order to facilitate provision of potable water for household livelihoods thus contributing to the attainment of child well being outcomes.

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Grade 1 or certificate qualifications in mechanic will be added advantage.
- At least 10 years experience as a driller in a busy and reputable drilling company,
- Valid BCE class driving license and atleast 3 years experience in driving Lorries, buses or rigs.
- Good team player, self starter, has ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain good relationships
