Process Improvement Manager Job in Nairobi Kenya - PZ Cussons East Africa

PZ Cussons East Africa is a leading International Manufacturer and Marketer of leading Household quality brands that include Carex, Imperial Leather, Venus hair and Ushindi Laundry.

We wish to recruit a highly Driven, Value-Aligned and experienced individual to fill the newly created position of 
Process Improvement Manager to be based in our Nairobi head Office.

Scope of the Role

The role is being created to identify and support improvement opportunities in internal operations to capture both growth and margin improvement opportunities using the appropriate tools e.g. TPM, etc with the extended Supply Chain.

  • Proposing, evaluating and implementing any suitable capital investment proposals.
  • Applying and driving continuous improvement continuous improvement across the SC using appropriate tools e.g. TPM, TQM, Kaizen.
  • Prospect and scout for the best and most suitable Supply Chain Technologies and best practice.
  • Ideas conversion into practical and beneficial solution within a manufacturing set up but involving entire extended Supply Chain.
  • Matching skills and competencies to the task/project/team to derive the maximum results in a sustainable manner.

  • Financial principles and be able to draw basic business plans to support proposals
  • Develop proposal and present through a gate and stage process the improvement for decision making, ideas with key focus on the business benefits.
  • Evaluating and reporting on the success of implemented projects within Key Performance Indicators.

  • Bench Marking and managing performance

A Solid Engineering Degree from reputable university with post graduate Diploma in project management.

2 years experience work in FMCG doing project management or continuous improvement initiatives applying principles like TPM, Kaizen, 5S, etc would be an added advantage.
