The KSIJ Central Board of Education, a Non Profit Organization Managing the Al Muntazir Schools in Dar es Salaam, ranging from Nursery up to Secondary Level is currently looking for experienced and competent individuals in the following areas:
1. Principal for Higher Education Institute
- To provide academic leadership to the Staff and Students of The Institute, ensuring the highest possible standards in education and research, and the effective managements of resources
- To lead, design, develop and deliver the Academic Strategy for the Institute.
- A Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Education or Equivalent Qualification in the Field of Education from a recognized University Institution / with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
2. Deputy Principal (Secondary School)
- To provide academic leadership to all staff, teachers and students of the school, ensuring the highest possible standards in education and research and the effective management of resources.
- The candidate should have Bachelors of Education degree, with 10 – 15 Years experience in administration of schools as Academics Head (IGCSE experience preferred).
3. Deputy Principal (Lower Primary)
- Having B. Ed / B. Sc / Minimum of Diploma in Child Care Education / Child Psychology with 10 years experience in administration of Lower Primary School.
- Able to manage the Academic Calendar, curriculum development, training and performance assessment of Lower Primary teachers.
4. Academic Counsellor
- For Secondary & Primary School: Responsible to ensure and monitor the academic performance of students.
- S/he should be able to plan and advise the management on the action plans to improve the performance of the School.
- The candidate should have a Bachelors of Education degree, with minimum of 12-15 years experience as Academic Development / Head —Academic from School having IGCSE Curriculum..
5. Career Counsellor
- Having professional experience to guide and place the secondary students in the right course / profession and help them to get admission to the right Institution / University across the world.
- The candidate should be able to conduct Aptitude Tests for the students, and ability to organize Career Fairs on regular basis.
6. Teachers for Secondary Levels
- Having B. Ed / B. Sc with Education / Good Communication Skills in Kiswahili / English language, strong analytical and problem solving skills, team player with readiness to grow professionally, Computer literate, creative and innovative with ability to change with the current technology, teachers with experience of teaching in IGCSE shall be given preference.
Remuneration will be decided on the basis of competency of the applicant.
