A medium size Steel wire manufacturing plant is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to be in charge of plant maintenance and other facilities in the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all maintenance/ workshop employees
- Ensure all machines are in good working condition and are available for production as and when required
- Prepare, implement routine maintenance programs.
- Liaise with the spare parts store and production personnel in regard to (critical) spare parts Management
- Continuous improvement towards reducing breakdown hours and overall maintenance costs
Competences Required:
- Bsc. Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum two years experience in a similar position
- Self starter, self motivated and hands on person
- Conversant with safe working procedures
- Aged minimum 28 years.
- Ready to play a key role in the EHS activities
