Chuka University College, a constituent University College of Egerton University, wishes to invite interested and qualified firms to provide Environmental Impact Assessment services for its land situated in Chuka Municipality, Eastern Province.
Interested and qualified firms are invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for the provision of the above services.
The EOI must provide information indicating professional capabilities and experience of the firm as well as that of its staff in providing the Environmental Impact Assessment.
Interested firms MUST provide the following information:
1. Company profile, history, contacts, services etc…
2. Evidence of experience in implementation of similar projects.
3. Evidence of statutory compliance: certificate of Business Registration, Certificate of Incorporation (for limited company), valid Tax Compliance certificate, VAT registration certificate, PIN certificate and valid National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) certificate and any other relevant requirements.
4. The consultants must provide proof of current registration with the relevant statutory bodies regulating their particular professions.
5. Must show evidence of liquidity and/or demonstrate financial capability in carrying out the consultancy works including audited financial accounts for the last two years.
6. Provide Curriculum Vitae, CV of the Lead Consultant(s), Directors and senior staff in each profession
Successful firms will be invited to buy the ‘Request for Technical Proposal’ documents for the submission of their bids.
Submissions in plain sealed envelopes marked ‘EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT AT CHUKA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, REF. No. CUC/EOI/02/2009-2010 should be placed in the Tender Box located at Chuka University College’s (situated along Nairobi- Meru Road) main Administration Block offices next to the Principal’s office or mailed to the address below so as to be received on or before Wednesday 9th June, 2010 at 12.00 noon.
Submission of bids will be opened publicly soon after the above closing date and time in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who chose to attend.
Delivery through e-mail is not acceptable.
