Finance Manager

Duties
- Oversee the overall function of finance department
- Formulate the company’s financial strategy and ensure it is properly implemented
- Formulate and implement sound financial and accounting policies, procedures and systems which are compliant with acceptable accounting policies and legal requirements.
- Develop systems for the effective and efficient management of financial resources
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting, reporting and analysis in order to aid management decision making
- Advise the company on the financial viability of proposed investments
- Ensure financial reports are prepared and submitted in compliance with the company requirements
- Prepare budgets and periodic financial performance reports for presentation to the Board of Directors
- Manage of the provision and recording of financial and accounting information externally-funded projects and the control of all externally funded expenditure
- Work closely with the HR & Administration Manager to manage the payroll
- Ensure the maintenance of proper accounting records to meet the requirements of both internal financial management and management reports and external audits.
The ideal candidate should:-
- Have Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration, accounting or finance
- CPA (K)
- Be Computer literate
- Have Knowledge of accounting packages
- Be a member of ICPAK
- Have at least 5 years working experience 5 years experience at similar position
- More than 30 years of age
- MBA will be an added advantage
