The Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK) is a Non Governmental Organization empowering person with disabilities in the country.
The organization has established an Employment Bureau and requires an officer to manage the Bureau.
Responsibilities:
- Programme design and management of Employment Bureau
- Conduct assessment and interviews of persons with disabilities who seek employment
- Consult with and lobby employers for job placement
- Develop and manage database and website
- Prepare program and donor reports
- Conduct training for clients and employers
Requirement:
- Degree in Social Science/Diploma in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR Management
- Experience in an Employment Bureau will be an added advantage
- At least 30 years of age
- Should be computer literate
- Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Persons with disability are encouraged to apply
