Pz Cussons East Africa Limited, a leading Manufacturerof leading fast moving renowned brands that include Imperial Leather, Venus Hair Care, Ushindi, Carex, Morning Fresh and Cussons Baby range among others, wishes to recruit a dynamic, qualified and experienced Kenyan to fill the following position:
Trade (Customer) Marketing Manager
The overall purpose ofthis position will be to translate marketing brand plans into successful in-store activities across all trade channels.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify areas of opportunity in all trade channels - Retail and Wholesale that enhance brand visibility.
- Develop and implement promotional activities that drive business growth in all outlets in order to achieve brand objectives.
- Develop, distribute and maintain leading edge Point of Sale Material for each channel.
- Together with the Sales and Marketing Teams, execute projects across the trade channels that enhance product distribution, visibility and awareness.
- Gather and provide market intelligence with regard to industry and competitors.
- Champion Merchandising standards for all company products.
- Monitor, evaluate and advise on Brand Trends and Dynamics
- Manage the trade marketing budget
The Person
- Must be a holder of a degree in a business related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales/Marketing and ideally Trade Marketing with a proven track record in an FMCG company.
- A team leader with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- A high degree of commercial awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- Computer literate.
