chain of hospitals in Nairobi are changing the way maternal healthcare is
provided by developing better ways to provide high-quality, patient-centered
maternity care at low cost.

we have grown to three maternity hospitals, seeing over 3,000 clients a month,
with a view towards further expansion across the country.

Market Innovations, the Gates Foundation, Savings Lives at Birth, and
Innovations in Healthcare – and our facility has been independently rated as
among the highest quality in Kenya.
We
have big ambitions and now also have the right backing of impact investors,
such as Johnson & Johnson and Swedfund to realize our vision of 20
hospitals across East Africa by 2027.

Role & Responsibilities
Reporting
into the Procurement Team, the Procurement Officer will be involved in tracking
stock and inventory levels, seeking quotes, updating procurement trackers,
researching vendor options, and verifying that data is correct.
Qualifications
Who
will be successful in this role?
· Candidates
who understand procurement processes in a healthcare setting
· Candidates
who are good with data entry
· Candidates
who are very fluent in using tools such as Google Docs, Google sheets, Excel,
etc
· Ambition
to grow a career in procurement
· Understanding
how to balance speed, accuracy, and efficiency
· A sense
of integrity regarding the importance of safeguarding our company against
unfair pricing or mismanaged inventory.
Requirements
· Undergraduate
degree
· No less
than 5 years of work experience
· 2 years
in procurement and/or logistics work
· Work
experience in a healthcare setting
· Experience
working for a company with over 100 staff members
Additional
Desirable Experience or Skills
· Some
background with impact-oriented organizations
· Experience
in training and professional development of others
· Experience
with various off-the-shelf automation technologies used by SMEs (i.e.
procurement or finance softwares, project management softwares, communication
tools, ERPs etc)
