Compliance Officer
Responsibilities
- Enforcing
the Dairy Industry Act;
- Inspecting
and recommending licensing of dairy premises;
- Surveillance,
sampling and testing of dairy produce;
- Providing
Advisory services to stakeholders;
- Carrying
out investigations and providing intelligent reports; and
- Organizing
regulatory and stakeholder forums to enhance compliance.
Qualifications
- Have
a minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience in a comparable
position;
- Have
a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Dairy Technology,
Food Science and Technology, Public Health, Animal Science or its
equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be
proficient in computer applications;
- Fulfil
the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
- Show
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
