client, a leading Plastics Manufacturing firm based along Mombasa Road seeks to
recruit a dynamic, results oriented energetic and self-driven individual for
the Position of Assistant Quality Assurance.

Placement: Immediate
Overall purpose of the Job: The role holder shall be responsible for assisting in ensuring that products in production meet the safety and specification standards necessary for them to be forwarded to the last production stage.
Key
Role Accountabilities
· Monitoring
operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
· Recommending
adjustments to the assembly or production process.
· Identify
defects effectively and efficiently
· Meet
weekly and monthly quality quota targets and reporting deadlines
· Proactively
identify opportunities for improvement and share ideas with the quality team
· Responsible
for updating and assuring document accuracy and control for QA departments
· Performing
any other relevant task assigned from time to time.
Person
Specification (Qualifications and Skills)
· Diploma/Degree
in manufacturing / Chemical engineering or Analytical Chemistry
· A
minimum of 2 year’s experience in a manufacturing company.
· Knowledge
in ISO Quality Management System an added advantage
· Experience
in a plastic processing firm an added advantage
· Ability
to communicate well, and manage multiple priorities
· Good
Reporting analytical & interpersonal skills
