Key Purpose Statement
The Country Lead Safety, Health, Environment and Quality -SHEQ plays an important role in ensuring that CCBA maintains compliance to all regulatory and internal requirements, particularly in country as related to quality, health, safety, and the environment. He or She is responsible for driving proactive strategies and the execution and implementation of solutions in country to maintain and improve the CCBA conformance to SHEQ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Development
and implementation of a SHEQ strategy and related plan in country
- Compiling
strategic roadmaps to improve the overall SHEQ maturity in country
- Ensuring
operations compliance to SHEQ requirements and standards
- Performing
legislative monitoring and compliance
- Contributing
to product quality management, standards, and control
- Overseeing
environmental impact monitoring and compliance
Experience
- 10-12
years in a Manufacturing or a Production environment
- At
least 5 – 6 years focused on working in all SHEQ domains at a
mid-management level
- SHEQ
experience and a proven track record of capability building and coaching
Education
- Bachelor’s
degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering
- Master
of Science Degree in Food Science would be preferred or equivalent with a
business qualification
