Job Title: Head of Sales – Telecom

Location: Nanyuki
Salary: Competitive Based on Experience
Our client is an internet service provider that provides data connectivity, data services and digital products to home and business customers.
They seek to hire a Head of Sales tasked with ensuring the company’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities

·         Recruit, equip, motivate, manage and coach a team of individual sales contributors and sales team leaders
·         Develop a sales model and entrench it within the teams
·         Provide process leadership for sales pipeline management, segmenting and targeting customers, and building business cases
·         Influence dependencies such as the technical teams, other managers and external parties towards achieving objectives e.g. interfacing with the product manager in order to influence product development
·         Hands-on selling
·         Take responsibility for building a sales culture and instilling a sense of urgency across the business
Skills & Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field of study
·         Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunication industry
·         Understanding of the sales process, both for individuals and corporate clients
·         Experience in managing sales teams
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·         Comfortable dealing with the ambiguities of a growing startup
·         A person of integrity and strong moral code

Job Title: Product Manager – Telecom
Location: Nanyuki

Our client is an internet service provider that provides data connectivity, data services and digital products to home and business customers.
They seek to hire an entrepreneurial and results-oriented Product Manager who will take full responsibility for the performance of their high potential product line for a fixed subscription, connectivity based product.
Key Responsibilities
·         Actively identify market needs and develop and implement strategies to leverage on these needs
·         Build compelling business cases to assess opportunities
·         Develop new products by managing the internal team functions as necessary
·         Design and execute pricing strategies
·         Develop and implement marketing strategies
·         Assess competitors and direct responses to competitive threats
·         Create product metrics, monitoring them and driving the decision making and actions that arise from these
Skills & Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field of study
·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management, commercial planning, new product development or a related field
·         Previous experience in Telecoms is preferred
·         Good problem solving and analytical skills
·         Structured communicator who can write and present good reports to support effective decision making
·         Courage to make decisions with minimal direction
