Job Title: Marketing
& Brand Manager – Beverages
Salary: 200K – 250K
Location: Nairobi
Our client is a leading FMCG company
and they seek to hire an innovative, creative and well experienced Marketing
& Brand Manager for their new beverages’ line.
He/She will be tasked with leading
the company’s day to day marketing activities as well as its long term
marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
·
Develop the marketing strategy for
the company in line with its objectives.
·
Lead the execution of marketing
programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving
collaboration
·
Analyze customer insights, consumer
trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful
strategies
·
Create, maintain, and conduct
analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for
future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal
proposals and recommendations on tactics
·
Partner with email, performance
marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead development tactics.
·
Develop creative briefs and guide
creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video
assets
·
Conceptualize and execute on
multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring
the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
·
Overall responsibility for brand
management and corporate identity
·
Support in new product launches
·
Maintain effective internal
communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed
of marketing objectives.
·
Build strategic relationships and
partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
·
Prepare and monitor the marketing
budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
Skills & Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
or Marketing. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Marketing preferred.
·
At least 8 years’ experience in
marketing, preferably in a Beverage manufacturing company, 4 of this leading a
marketing department
·
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
·
Strong analytical and project
management skills.
·
Confident and dynamic personality.
·
Strong creative outlook.

Sales Manager – Beverages
Salary: 200K
– 300K
Location: Nairobi
Reports to: General
Manager
Our client is a leading FMCG company who seek to hire an
experienced and result-oriented Country Sales Manager for their beverages’
line.
The successful candidate will lead and manage sales within
the country to enable profitable growth and expansion within the target market.
Key Responsibilities
·
Implement the country’s strategy
while monitoring the scope areas in line with the sales strategy, policies,
processes and procedures to achieve the set objectives.
·
Develop and cascade the Section
targets through a performance management structure while inspiring the team to
achieve the section scorecard in line with overall objective
·
In-charge of the assigned territory’s
sales operations, departments and personnel involved in the sales function
·
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and
annual targets for sales and payments.
·
Optimise primary and secondary sales
through delivering right merchandise specific to all the verticals as in
distributors, retailers and wholesalers to deliver targets.
·
Evaluate market trends, gather
competitor information, identify trends that effect current and future growth
of regional sales and profitability for decision making.
·
Develop customer relationships
through regular operational reviews to ensure that product availability,
distribution and opportunities are grasped
·
Develop and implement efficient route
to market strategies
·
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly
reports, so as to keep abreast with targets v/s actual.
·
Benchmark and implement best
practices in marketing and other respective areas of work.
·
Implement product quality, customer
& Service Excellence and Change initiatives to achieve desired business
plans and culture
·
Manage talent including coaching,
mentoring, developing, motivating, training and evaluating staff to achieve
highest levels of performance
Skills & Qualifications
·
Degree in Sales & Marketing or
related field of study
·
At-least 5 years’ experience in
sales, preferably in the beverage industry
·
Excellent negotiation and selling
skills
·
Good analytical and planning skills
·
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
·
Good leadership skills with proven
experience of coaching and mentoring teams
