Job Summary: The position is responsible for supervising daily analysis, and
reporting of analytical findings of all samples, aimed at fulfilling Quality
control operations and development so as to meet agreed organizational
performance goals within agreed budgets and timescales (covering relevant areas
i.e. materials sampling, analysis, retention, product development, calibration,
validation and whatever else falls within limit according to Quality goals and
objectives of Sphinx Pharmaceuticals Limited)
Key Responsibilities
·
Allocating daily duties to the QC
Analysts
·
Supervising receiving, sampling, status
labeling of raw materials, and packaging material.
·
Ensuring timely sampling, analysis
and approval of raw material, packaging materials intermediate, bulk and
finished products.
·
Initiating batch manufacturing
records.
·
Ensuring the implementation of initial
and continuing training of quality control staff.
·
Writing, updating, and implementing
of Quality control standard operation procedures.
·
Monitoring, calibration and repair of
laboratory equipments and apparatus.
·
Ensuring all analyzed raw materials
and finished products are retained as per the outlined procedure.
·
Ensuring that analysts carry out
analysis as per approved test procedures and there work books are checked.
·
Ensuring that only the current
approved version of test procedures, SOPs and any other approved technical
documents is being used.
·
Ensuring that reference standards
used for analysis are properly labeled, are upto date, in good condition and
records kept.
·
Ensure all the reagents used in the
lab are prepared, labeled and standardized as per the approved procedure and
records kept.
·
Ensuring all reagents purchased are
received, recorded and labeled as per the approved procedure.
·
Ensuring that all raw materials due
for retest are tested.
·
Preparing of monthly consumables
requirements for the laboratory.
·
Monitoring proper use of the
laboratory equipment, apparatus, reagents and any other resources availed to
the laboratory.
·
Ensuring environmental controls are
carried out and records kept.
·
Participating in validation of
production processes, quality control procedures and calibration of equipments
and maintenance of their records.
·
Maintaining in a good state, the
general laboratory premises, reagents, documents, equipment any other resources
availed to the laboratory, including the general laboratory cleanliness.
Academic Qualification: Minimum Qualification – Diploma in Applied Sciences i.e.
Chemistry, Applied Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry
Experience: 5 years relevant Experience in a busy Pharmaceutical
Manufacturing laboratory

Purpose: The
Medical Representative is responsible for detailing to the Doctors, Medical
Clinicians, Clinic Officers etc. and creating & developing maximum
profitable sales of all company products that may reasonably be achieved in the
assigned sales territory through regular and aggressive coverage of all
professional contacts and sales outlets.
Build
and maintain good will with the medical community, hospitals, other health
centers, and sales outlets so as to gain maximum understanding and acceptance
of company products and policies.
Key Accountabilities
Achievement
of Sales Targets

Meet personal sales targets as
established, incorporating the full range of products within identified markets
or geography.
Sales
Process and Relationship Development
·
Assess customer needs, promote / sell
products from new and existing customers through formulating and building
positive trust relationships.
·
Conduct presentations to doctors and
allied staff in hospitals & medical centers and to pharmacists and
dispensers in the retail sector & assists them in taking right product
decisions.
·
Regularly collect and share feedback
from customers related to product, price, service, and commercial activity and
postulate solutions to counter challenges.
·
Demonstrate products to new and existing
clients and provide assistance in selecting the most suitable option.
·
Service existing client accounts,
obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
schedule to call on existing and potential customers and other industry
stakeholders.
·
Keeps management informed by
submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly
work plans, expense statements, customer wise sales plans and monthly territory
analyses.
·
Actively resolve customer complaints
by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making
recommendations to management.
·
Plan & conduct informative
meetings (CME’s, Medical camps, and Pharmacy Campaigns) with general
practitioners, pharmacists and specialists and keeping a record of visits.
·
Be relevant with the latest clinical
data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this
data with health professionals during presentations.
·
Generates monthly report on allocated
territorial performance including reports on visit rates, personal orders and
focus product performances.
·
Pursue continuous learning and
professional development.
Trends
and Analysis
·
Monitors competition by gathering
current market information on pricing, products, new product launches, and
visible marketing campaigns. Analyses market trends, keeps abreast of new
developments to identify competitive advantage and informs management.

regard to sales.

Prepare sales presentations to ensure
successful outcome of business transactions.

Maintaining and periodically updating
detailed records of all customer contacts.
Customer

Coordinates adherence to customer and

Academic Qualification: Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Science Degree or Pharmacy
Degree or any other relevant qualification
Experience: Over
4 years’ experience in a Sales and Marketing (Medical Products) role covering
all areas of the function.
