Responsibilities
·         Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;
·         Keeping up to date work tickets for vehicles;
·         Cleaning of the assigned motor vehicle;

·         Submitting regular reports on motor vehicle assigned;
·         Reporting any mechanical/accident problems; and
·         Proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle.
Qualifications
·         At least served in the grade of Driver for at least four (4) years;
·         At least a mean grade D+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
·         The Occupational Trade Test II Certificate;
·         Valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive;
·         Certificate of Good Conduct;
·         First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution; and
·         An accident free driving period of 3 years.
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution

Senior Assistant Records Officer

Grade:  7
Responsibilities
·         Receiving mails, opening, sorting and dispatching to the recipients
·         Maintaining registers for incoming and outgoing mails
·         Ensuring security of files and documents including Equipment in the section.
·         Ensuring all pending correspondences are brought to the attention of supervisor and appropriate action taken;
·         preparing appraisal and disposal schedule of files and documents in liaison with relevant agencies
Qualifications
·         Diploma in any of the following: Records Management, Information Management, Information Science, Library Science or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution; and two (2) years relevant work experience; Or
·         Supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution.
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
·         Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance.

Project Management Officer

Responsibilities
·         Assisting documentation of project progress tracking against deadlines in accordance to project schedules;
·         Assisting in documentation of the developed functional and system design specifications for KOTDA engagements with all contracted stakeholders;
·         Assisting preparation of reports on deliverables from contracted stakeholder’s;
·         Working closely with the Project Officer to ensure project issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner;
·         Assisting in proactively communicating project status, issues and risks to the Project Officer;
·         Supporting documentation of developed Project Management Tools and strategies including project, communication, quality, risk and configuration plans for Konza Projects;
·         Supporting documentation of updated project tools and strategies for Konza Projects during project execution and communicate needed changes in a timely manner.
Qualifications
·         Bachelors degree in Project Management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Registrable qualifications with relevant professional bodies
·         Fulfill requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution

Legal Officer

Grade:  6
Responsibilities
·         Reading and verifying documentation vis-à-vis historical information contained in individual case files;
·         Obtaining information required on case files and communicating to the external advocates;
·         Identifying legal and compliance risks
·         Compiling contract documentation for preparation and related documents for the Authority;
·         Coordinating handling of cases filed against the Authority between the departments and external counsel; and
·         Attending court hearings.
Qualifications
·         Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized institution;
·         Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law;
·         Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court;
·         Proficiency in computer applications; and
·         Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Sales Officer

Responsibilities
·         Source for new investors
·         Creation of account profiles for new investors
·         Facility tours for new and potential investors
·         Drafting correspondences to investors
·         Attend meetings with investors
·         Perform any other assigned duties as directed by a senior officer
Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s Degree in any of the followings; Commerce or Business Administration or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
·         Proficiency in Computer Applications

Permitting & Development Control Officer

Responsibilities
·         Reviewing for approval all site plan applications for developments at Konza Technopolis.
·         Reviewing for approval all construction permit applications for development at Konza Technopolis.
·         Supervising inspection to ensure compliance with approved plans.
·         Overall Surveillance and monitoring of developments and Konza Technopolis to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Konza Masterplan.
·         Reviewing and issuance of occupation certificates for fully compliant developments approved for Konza Technopolis.
Qualifications
·         Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Physical Planning or relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and;
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Good communication skills;
·         Meets the provisions of the Chapter Six of the Constitution

Land Surveyor

Responsibilities
·         Carrying out periodic surveys at Konza Technopolis
·         Casting ground beacons to Konza Technopolis parcels
·         Developing digital parcel demarcations for Konza Technopolis
·         Producing Ground surveys of Konza Technopolis master plans
·         Developing GIS Mapping, interpretation and parcel data analysis
·         Developing deed plans for each parcel at Konza Technopolis
·         Identifying physical location of parcels at Konza Technopolis for investors
Qualifications
·         Bachelors Degree in Survey, photogrammetry and remote sensing; Geo spatial Engineering; Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and;
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Good communication skills; and
·         Meets the provisions of the Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Environmental Management Officer

Responsibilities
·         Promoting of sustainable social and economic development in Konza Technopolis.
·         Preventing pollution and ecological degradation.
·         Promoting of conservation.
·         Ensuring environmental compliance, monitoring and enforcement.
·         Promoting environmental quality.
·         Assessing environmental impact and mitigation of construction projects being implemented in Konza Technopolis.
·         Operating and managing municipal waste management infrastructure in Konza Technopolis
·         Carrying out routine maintenance of waste management infrastructure, facilities, plant and equipment at Konza Technopolis.
Qualifications
·         Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and;
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Good communication skills; and
·         Meets the provisions of the Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Principal Energy Officer

Responsibilities
·         Ensuring sufficient electrical power, cooking gas and green energy facilities and utilities for Konza Technopolis;
·         Designing, developing and maintaining electrical power, cooking gas and green energy facilities for Konza Technopolis
·         Supervising and inspecting electrical power, gas and green energy construction works;
·         Liaising and advising consultants and contractors appointed by the Authority to implement electrical power, cooking gas and green energy structures.
·         Reviewing electrical power, gas and green energy designs for implementation within the jurisdiction of Konza Technopolis.
·         Providing electrical power, gas and green energy engineering advice to the Authority.
Qualifications
·         At least Eight (8) years’ work experience in energy management in public service or private sector, three of which must be in a supervisory position.
·         Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering or relevant qualifications from a recognized institution;
·         Masters Degree in electrical engineering or relevant qualifications from a recognized institution
·         A Management Course lasting not less than Four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
·         Registered as a Professional Engineer by EBK and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Good communication skills,

Senior Urban Planner

Responsibilities
·         Periodic reviewing of the masterplan to facilitate necessary changes as and when required.
·         Providing technical support for investor settlement to the business Development Department.
·         Providing Technical support to Machakos, Makueni and Kajiado counties in the Buffer Zone.
·         Preparing short and long-term scenarios required for the implementation of subsequent phases of the Konza project.
·         Developing urban development standards for Konza Technopolis.
Qualifications
·         At least four (4) years’ work experience in urban planning in public service or private sector;
·         Bachelors Degree in urban planning, physical planning or relevant qualifications from a recognized institution;
·         Supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
·         Registered as a Professional urban planner, physical planner with the relevant registration body.
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Demonstrated results in work performance;

Civil Engineer

Responsibilities
·         Ensuring sufficient road network and associated transport infrastructural facilities and utilities.
·         Review for approval proposals for development of road ways, pedestrian walk ways, bicycle lanes, utility civil works and public transportation plans
·         Review for approval, detailed plans and designs for the construction of road ways, pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes, utility civil works and public transportation facilities for Konza Technopolis.
·         Certify substantial completion and acceptance for all transport infrastructure projects successfully completed on behalf of Konza Technopolis Development Authority.
·         Operation and Maintenance of functional Transport infrastructure and facilities at Konza Technopolis.
·         Develop and implement a Konza Technopolis Transport infrastructure and facilities Operation and Maintenance policy framework.
·         Advice Konza Manger Transport engineering on all matters related to transport.
·         Liaising and advising consultants and contractors appointed by the Authority when putting up civil structures;
·         Providing civil engineering advice to the Authority.
Qualifications
·         At least Eight (8) years’ work experience in civil engineering in public service or private sector, three of which must be in a supervisory position.
·         Bachelors Degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution;
·         Masters Degree in civil engineering or relevant qualifications from a recognized institution
·         A Management Course lasting not less than Four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
·         Registered as a Professional Engineer by EBK and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya
·         Proficiency in computer applications;
·         Demonstrated results in work performance;
·         Good communication skills,
·         Proficiency in Computer skills;
