Graphics Officer

Responsibilities
·         Leading a design working team in preparation and printing of reports, newsletters, calenders, cards, etc.
·         Designing of stands for local and international exhibitions and trade fairs
·         Carrying out landscape drawings.
·         Establishing a model making section, including designing and painting of murals and major colour work.

·         Directing, supervising and appraising staff under him/her.
Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design/Fine Arts from recognised institution.
·         Relevant post graduate qualification from a recognised institution.
·         Demonstrated professional ability, initiative and competence in graphic design.
·         Six (6) years working experience in the field of graphics design.
·         Good communication skills.
·         Knowledge in design computer applications.

Responsibilities
·         Interpreting and implementing human resource management policies, rules, regulations, procedures and systems.
·         Analyzing the utilization of human resources in the Authority and advising on proper deployment.

Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines :- Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or any other relevant field from a recognised institution; OR
·         A degree in social science and a post graduate diploma in any of the following disciplines: -Human Resource Management,Human Resource Devpt,Industrial Relation other relevant field from a recognized institution : AND
·         Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Human Resource Management, Personnel
·         Management,Public Administration,Business Administration or any other relevant field from a recognised institution
·         Member of a relevant professional body.

·         Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution.
·         Demonstrated professional ability, initiative and competence in human resource management.
·         Nine (9) years’ working experience in the Human Resource Management field.
·         Good communication skills.
·         Knowledge in Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS)

Environmental Services Officer

Responsibilities
·         Coordinating Environmental Planning, Research and Monitoring activities
·         Ensuring preparation of County Environment Action Plans at National and County level
·         Providing support to Environmental Committees in formulation of action plans
·         Mainstreaming environmental concerns in plans, policies and programmes
·         Ensuring strategic dissemination of research findings in collaboration with the Lead Agencies
·         Coordinating and implementing Environmental Education and Outreach Programmes at National and County level
·         Nurturing international links with other environmental training institutions
·         Coordinating training needs assessment of technical staff of the Authority and ensuring continuous development of technical staff
·         Spearheading Education for Sustainable Development targeting all learning institutions in Kenya
·         Promoting conservation and sustainable utilization of coastal, marine and fresh water resources, and all fragile and ecologically significant habitats & ecosystems in Kenya
·         Implementing relevant Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAS)
·         Supervising implementation of management plans for various ecosystems
·         Ensuring production of state of environment reports as per the requirements of EMCA CAP 387
·         Offering requisite support to County Environment Committees
·         Appraising, supervising and developing staff in the department.
Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in any of the following discipline; Environmental studies, Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Environmental planning, or any other relevant field from a recognized Intitution.
·         Familiarity with Environmental law and regulations related to environmental protection and conservation.
·         Familiarity with International environmental conventions and protocols that Kenya is a party to.
·         Training in management or administration.
·         Knowledge in computer applications
·         At least Ten (10) years’ working experience in environmental field, three (3) of which must be at managerial level.
