Job Title: Phlebotomist
(2 Positions)
Job Location: Kisii.
Work Type: Full Time.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Collect and tag specimens exactly as outlined in each medical requisition.
·         Develop effective collection techniques as they relate to groups such as pediatric and geriatric patients.
·         Properly package each specimen and ensure that every specimen is delivered to the laboratory on time.
·         Maintain an organized and clean work area based on state health laws and the guidelines of our medical organization.
·         Answer patient questions regarding collection techniques and offer additional resources on the collection process if a patient request them.
Job Requirements
·         KCSE Certificate.
·         Certificate in Phlebotomy.
·         Knowledge of ISO 15189:2012.
·         Good communication skills including verbal, presentation and written.
·         Capability to multitask and work independently.
·         Good problem-solving skills
·         Ability to work for long hours as need be.


Job Title: Dentist
Location: Kisii
Work Type: Full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Managing budgets and maintaining stocks of equipment.
·         Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures.
·         Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities.
·         Formulate plan of treatment for patient’s teeth and mouth tissue.
·         Advise and instruct patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral health care services.
·         Prescribe medications as necessary.
·         Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations
·         Maintaining patients’ dental records.
Job Requirements:
·         Have a Dental Degree of B.D.S. or equivalent from a University recognized in Kenya.
·         Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board.
·         Be in good profession standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board (MPDB) and completion of dental internship.
·         Be proficient in computer skills.
·         Have capacity to multitask within strict timeliness.


Job Title: Radiographer
(2 Posts)
Location: Kisii
Work Type: Full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Assess patients and their clinical requirements to decide which radiographic technique to use.
·         Perform a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images.
·         Manage referrals to ensure patients receive a radiation dose.
·         Supervise visiting staff and patients in radiation work areas.
·         Ensuring the equipment is maintained and used safely.
·         Determine the most appropriate method of scanning for each patient.
·         Help in more complex radiological examination.
·         Able to take responsibility for radiation in working area, including checking equipment for malfunctions, errors.
Job Requirements:
·         Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences from accredited school.
·         Registered by Radiation Protection Board.
·         Successfully completed one (1) year internship.
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Title: Dietician / Nutritionist

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Provide dietary services in accordance with organization guidelines.
·         Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient’s current health.
·         Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly assessments of clients and adapt nutrition plans as needed.
·         Implement personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies.
·         Deliver client nutrition recommendations to physicians, nurses and aides.
·         Provide nutrition education and counseling for patients.
·         Conducting dietary surveys, food research and clinical trials.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:.
·         Formulation, implementation, review and interpretation of all pharmaceutical and other related health policies, laws, regulations, guidelines and standards.
·         Management of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
·         Provision of medical and non-medical therapy in patient care.
·         Provision of medicines used in prevention, control and diagnosis of diseases.
·         Provision of pharmaco vigilance services.
·         Planning, management and monitoring of essential medicines during disasters and emergencies.
·         Management of custody and safe use of illicit psychotropic and narcotic substances.
·         Provision of health education and health promotion on rational drug use.
·         Provision of information to health workers and the general public on new drugs.

Job Title: Laboratory Technologist

Job Location: Kisii
Work Type: Full time
Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the Laboratory Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for processing of laboratory specimens and timely release of accurate test results as per laboratory policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to 
·         Receiving, accessioning, verifying and processing of specimens.
·         Timely release of accurate, precise and reproducible results.
·         Archiving of specimens and records as per laboratory SOPS.
·         Proper Management of laboratory equipment by doing daily routine maintenance, calibration and quality control.
·         Proper Management of laboratory reagents and consumables as per laboratory SOPS.
·         Participation in EQA and other quality assurance programs.
·         Creation and Maintenance of Laboratory documents and records.
·         Blood transfusion procedures.
·         Compliance with relevant policies and procedures including but not limited to those related to safety and infection control.
·         Basic Knowledge of GCLP, ISO 15189:2012 standards.
Requirements and Experience
·         Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
·         Must be registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board with a current practicing license.
·         Knowledge and experience in different laboratory disciplines especially hematology, biochemistry and microbiology.
·         Good computer and problem-solving skills.
