Hospital Manager  
1 Position
 
Based at the Adams unit and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position is responsible for providing leadership and driving business in line with the Hospital business objectives. In addition, this position will ensure day to day operations and quality service delivery.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 3-5 years in a similar position in a busy hospital environment. Masters qualification will be an added advantage. 

The position demands active knowledge and experience in Business, Financial, People and Stakeholder management; as well as active application of Information Systems and Health Care Management.

In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrable experience managing a healthcare facility.
 
Laboratory Services Manager  
1 Position 

Reporting to the Chief Quality and Standards Officer, this position is responsible for providing leadership within the department to meet stakeholders requirements for quality laboratory services through policy development, ensuring day-to-day management and long-term planning of services; directing and developing staff; collaborating with multidisciplinary professional staffs to deliver the highest standards of care.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences, while relevant qualifications in healthcare management will be a definite advantage. 

The position demands active knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance, Business, Financial, People and Stakeholder management; as well as active application of Information Systems and Health Care Management. 

In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrable experience managing a busy laboratory.
 
Nursing Services in Charge 
(1 Position)
 
Based at our Hurlingham branch with matrix reporting to the Hospital Manager and Nursing Services Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the nursing team within the hospital branch.

In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring consistency and continuity of high quality nursing care, while upholding the highest professional standards and excellent customer service.

Applicants must be in possession of Diploma in KRCHN or equivalent, valid certification in BLS, ACLS or ATLS and prior experience managing a large team of nursing staff in a hospital setting.

A degree in any health care discipline or a higher national diploma in a specialized area will be an added advantage. 

The position requires active knowledge and experience in People Management and Customer service. 

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 6 years cumulative experience in a busy hospital environment with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position leading a team of nursing staff.
 
Section in Charge – ICU/HDU
 
Based at the Adams branch and reporting to the Nursing Services in Charge, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating patient care activities in the ward to ensure high standard of nursing care in line with hospital policies and procedures.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, a higher national diploma in critical care nursing and must have a valid license from the NCK. 

The position requires active knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance, People Management and Customer service. 


The successful candidate must have experience working in a busy ICU with experience in a similar position leading a team.
 
Section in Charge – Theatre
 
Based at the Adams branch and reporting to the Nursing Services in Charge, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the activities in the ward to ensure high standard of nursing care in line with hospital policies and procedures.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, a higher national diploma in peri- operative care and must have a valid license from the NCK. 

The position requires active knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance, People Management and Customer service. 

The successful candidate must have experience working busy ICU with experience in a similar position leading a team.
 
Critical Care Tutor and Clinical Nurse Instructor 
(1 Position)
 
Reporting to the Head of Department –School of Nursing, this position is responsible for facilitating clinical teaching and improving nursing quality to nursing trainees on rotation in the ICU, in line with The Nairobi Women Hospital's mission, vision, goals and core values.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a higher national diploma in critical care nursing or its equivalent. 

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a hospital setting of which 1 year must be in a similar position.

Tutor (School of Nursing) 
1 Position
 
Based at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital College and reporting to the Head of Department, School of Nursing, the position will be responsible for delivery of quality instruction to health care trainees, in line with the Nursing Council guidelines.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with more than 2 years post internship work experience, of which 1 year must be in delivering teaching to health care trainees. 

In addition, they must be able to commit consistent hours per week to deliver training. Possession of Pedagogy training will be a distinct advantage.
 
Nurses (ICU, Renal, Paediatric , Accident and Emergency, Theater)
Multiple Positions
 
Reporting to the Section in Charge, this position is responsible for provision of high quality primary nursing care within the section in line with Hospital policies, processes and procedures.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a Diploma in KRCHN or KRN with valid certification in BLS, ACLS or ATLS and Higher National diploma in the specialized area. 

In addition, the successful candidate must have valid registration with NCK. The position requires active knowledge and experience in the respective specialization.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in the specialization area, in a busy hospital environment.

Business Development Analyst
1 Position
 
Based at Corporate Office and reporting to the Chief Officer- Business Development and Marketing, this position is responsible for supporting development of business growth strategies, plans and projects resulting in sustained volumes and improved service levels.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Degree in a business related field with demonstrated experience in research and analysis with a clear drive to improve customer service standards. 

The position requires active knowledge and experience in Customer Service and business growth. 

The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position. Working experience in a health care setting will be a distinct advantage.
 
Customer Relations Officer 
(1 Position – NWH College)
 
Based at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital College and reporting to the College Principal with a matrix reporting to the Chief Officer- Business Development & Marketing, this position is responsible for growing the business volumes for the college through executing business development activities.
 
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Communications/ Public Relations/Marketing or a business related course.

In addition they must have 3 years working experience interacting directly with clients, managing relationships and growing business in a tertiary learning institution.
