Claims Manager
The
incumbent will be responsible for the Claims Department of the company and assessment
of the existing staff. S/he will be responsible for producing daily reports to
management.
Requirements
·
Bachelor of Commerce degree
·
A.C.I.L.A
·
Should be able to assess claims files
·
Should be able to review systems in
place
·
Should work with the consultants to
produce all documents and policies
·
Ensure all excess and premiums are
paid
·
Prepare final documents for claims
payable for approval
·
Ability to set up a team to run the
above
·
At least 5 years relevant working
experience in similar role within a busy working environment.
Underwriting Manager
The incumbent will be in charge of the Underwriting
Department and the overall running of the department for non-motor and motor
insurance portfolio.
Among other duties s/he will be responsible for setting up
his/her team and organizing the back office procedures and internal controls.
Requirements:

Holder of Bachelor of Commerce degree
·
Holder of full ACII qualifications
·
Proven knowledge of all classes of
insurance
·
Must be a team leader
·
Must be able to prepare daily and
weekly forecasts
·
At least 5 years relevant working
experience in similar role within a busy working environment.
Internal Account Auditor
The incumbent will among other duties be responsible for
monitoring and evaluating risk management as well as checking the accounting
internal processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness of accounting
practices.
Requirements
·
Holder of Bachelor of Science or
Bachelor of Commerce degree with an Accounts/Finance concentration
·
Holder of CPA (K) or ACCA part III
and above
·
Proven working experience as internal
auditor
·
Advance computer skills and exposure
to insurance software
·
Proven knowledge of audit standard
and procedures laws, rules and regulation
·
At least 5 years relevant working
experience in similar role within a busy working environment.
Principal Officer
The incumbent will be in charge of general management of
the Company functions ensuring compliance, timely and accurate submission of
returns to IRA.
Among other duties he will be responsible for overseeing
market growth, claims, reinsurance and overall management of branches to
achieve budges.
Requirements

Be a holder of a University degree

Be a holder of full ACII
qualifications

Must be Computer literate
·
Knowledge of preparing statutory
reports to IRA
·
Ability to oversee Underwriting ,
Claims and Reinsurance
·
Must have worked in a senior
management position
·
Should be result oriented , team
player with self- drive and interpersonal skills
·
Demonstrated understanding of key
laws and rules guiding insurance regulation and reinsurance
·
At least 5 years relevant working
experience in the insurance industry.
