Project Manager
This person will oversee the conceptualisation, planning, development and implementation of Enterprise client’s projects.The person will also understand Telkom Kenya’s key customers’ build plans, manage material flow, and manage quality delivery of customer expectations from ICT projects.

Duties

·         Carry out project planning for assigned projects with a clearly documented plan involving all relevant stakeholders.
·         Carry out E2E project management for assigned customer projects as per project plan.
·         Implement and ensure adherence to project methodology and processes as adopted by Telkom Kenya in the management and execution of customer projects.
·         Manage the relationships with the customers during the implementations phase, until hand-over phase.
·         Ensure high standards in the quality of project management within the organization and continuous improvement on project processes.
·         Provide individual project tracking, consolidated progress reports, and provide required management reports.
·         Identify project risks and/or issues and implement necessary action plans to manage them so as to avoid potential delays and scope creep.
·         Follow up on the delivered products and solutions on an agreed regular basis with the customer to keep informed about the life cycle of the implemented customer solution.
·         Manage the project budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realized milestones as the project progresses.
·         Ensure that there is efficient allocation of common resources and skills within the assigned project portfolio.
·         Facilitate the appointment of individuals to the specific projects tasks for specific project results delivery
·         Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
·         Ensure project closure through a clear sign-off, billing initiation and handover to the post implementation teams.

Qualifications

·         A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Telecommunications. PMP/Prince 2 Certification in project management is a requirement.
·         2-5 years’ work experience in a project management environment with a track record in delivering ICT
·         solutions within schedule, budget and quality.

Senior Project Manager
He/ She will provide leadership to a team of project managers charged with the end-to-end delivery of Enterprise solutions. Oversee the conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of assigned Enterprise client’s projects.
He/ She will be the project management champion in the projects team, providing coaching and mentorship to the team as a senior projects expert. He/ She will also understand Telkom Kenya’s key customers’ build plans, manage material flow, and manage quality delivery of customer expectations from ICT projects.

Head of Trade Marketing
The Head of Trade Marketing and Acquisition will create, drive and manage all promotional activity within the distribution & sales channel. They will also pro-actively drive the brand and ground level animations.

Duties

·         Strategically implement and supervise trade marketing initiatives in all the regions
·         Grow and retain acquisitions within the regions as well as managing quality of the acquisition
·         Budget ownership for all trade marketing activities
·         Create all merchandise and in-store collateral
·         Create, build and manage mass market/trade marketing animations and road shows
·         Pro-actively seek to maximize SIM, devices and electronic airtime, profile and take-up.
·         Creation of brand strategy and positioning
·         Enforce processes and procedures for customer sign-up
·         Work hand in hand with the Regional Sales team and giving them appropriate business advice and support

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from a recognized institution
·         Experience in similar position from a reputable organization (minimum 5+ years)
·         Clear FMCG experience
Professional Skills:
·         Strong market perception and understanding to select actions with the highest chances of success and growth
·         Good knowledge of product marketing basics: marketing mix, exploiting market research materials
·         Excellent communication / presentation skills (oral & written)

HSE Officer
Responsible for minimizing risks and hazards in the workplace, prevent accidents & incidents as well as injuries to workers, improve preparedness to emergencies & disaster management & compliance to national legislation.

Duties

·         Induction of visitors, employees and contractors on HSE procedures and policies.
·         Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents; review and analyse them, proposing corrective action and sharing reports.
·         Help to coordinate occupational health and safety related surveys e.g. noise, lighting, exposure to chemical substances and follow up associated recommendations.
·         Investigate the root cause of HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, clients and contractors and report the result to the HSE manager.
·         Assist in ensuring compliance with Kenyan Environmental, Health and Safety Laws and requirements and Telkom Kenya’s HSE policy and procedures
·         Carry out workplace audits, check compliance of work being performed with safe systems of work and follow-up on corrective actions
·         Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly risky or hazardous work situations;
·         Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
·         Coordinate meetings of safety champions, fire marshals and first aiders and follow up on recommendations made in the meetings

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science, or occupational health sciences with minimum 3 years’ work based HSE experience in a similar role
·         Practical experience in Kenyan HSE regulations and the use of formal HSE risk assessments.
·         Familiarity with international Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015) and Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001)
·         Knowledge of HSE in telecommunications, property, infrastructure, construction or extractive industries
