Accounts Assistant
Our client is a leading real Estate
company in Eldoret. They are looking to hire a competent Accounts Assistant who
will be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative
services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his
or her control.

Responsibilities
·
Generation and dispatch of invoice
·
Payment allocation, follow up and
collection
·
Perform account reconciliations
·
Monitor customer accounts for delayed
or non-payments and irregularities
·
Maintain files and records
·
Communication with clients via phone,
mail or in person
·
Work closely with the sales and
marketing personnel
·
Working with spread sheets, sales and
purchase ledgers and journals.
·
Preparing statutory accounts.
·
Sorting out incoming and outgoing
daily post and answering any queries.
·
Managing petty cash transactions.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor degree in Accounting or
related field
·
At least 2 years minimum working
experience
·
Knowledge of general bookkeeping
procedures and accounting principals
·
Proficient in relevant computer
software
·
Exemplary communication,
interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
·
Attention to detail
·
The ability to integrate and work
effectively within our dynamic office team
·
Knowledge of office administration
and accounting procedures will be added advantage.
