Job Title: Finished Products Store (FPS) Intern

Duty Station: Thika

Reporting To: FPS Officer

The Finished Products Store Intern will assist the FPS Officer in the following:
·         Ensure proper stacking of finished products N/B- No misplaced bag will be tolerated.
·         Maintain cleanliness of finished products store
·         Daily stock take of all finished products and submitting the report to immediate supervisor
·         Issue replacement of old bags in finished goods
·         Ensure nil variances, should be able to trace the cause of any variance.
·         Keeping track of material usage, by ensuring stock movement sheet is duly recorded and properly filled
·         Space management of the store
·         Timely raising of SRN and forwarding the same for approval only under the guidance of your supervisor
·         Ensure safety in the warehouse by monitoring stacking and clear gangways and adhering to the SHE requirement in the warehouse.
·         Monitor stocks’ shelf life to ensure that there are no expiries in the store and that an effective FIFO system is in place.
·         Any other duties that may be assigned to you by your superiors.

Daily Reports
Finished Products Section
·         Report on all daily transfers with total quantities
·         Daily tallying  of opening physical stock of finished products verses the system
·         Daily Tallying of gunny bags for re-bagging
·         Daily SRN  tallying  with Return Inwards
·         Daily Stock take and reconciliation.
·         Confirm all invoices released.

Key Performance Indicators
·         Timely submission of reports
·         Error free reports
·         Proper record keeping
·         Clean hygienic and well maintained stores.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
·         Degree / Diploma in store management / Purchase and supplies / Business Related Field
·         Computer proficiency
·         Possess good interpersonal skills
·         Interns with prior experience will have an added advantage
·         High Computer proficiency
·         Possess good interpersonal skills
·         High level of Tenacity
·         Proactive
·         Aggressive
·         Well planned and systematic in nature
·         Quick learners
·         Early risers
·         Good online report writing skills
