We specifically seek for a General Manager who will be responsible for Finance (including Purchasing) and Admin (including HR).
He or She, in addition to the above attributes will have the following critical competencies and technical skills:
- Be a motivating leader to manage teams.
- Be a driver of success through cascading objectives.
- Be a driver of strategy with exceptional communication skills to help achieve results.
- Be a person of integrity.
- Be a good number cruncher and translate numbers to results.
- Be a juggler of priorities while remembering to attend to the balls in the air.
- Must be a lover of systems and see systems as a plus and not as a setback.
- Must have thick skin to manage demands from the BoD and teams they manage.
- The desired candidate has at least 5 years’ experience in a demanding role that includes decision-making.
- Must be familiar with high value goods industry.
- Must be a holder of an undergraduate degree, preferably in operations or management
- Must be a certified accountant with ACCA preferred.
