Vacancy: Project Coordinator
Duration: 10 Months
The
Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health. Aga Khan University is looking
for a responsible Project Coordinator who will run, administer and organize
project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Project
Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate
activities, resources, equipment and information
- Coordinate
the Scientific Advisory Committee to develop the program of the Leadership
Workshop
- Make
certain that protect needs are met as the project evolves
- Help
prepare program, timeframes, schedule and budget monitoring
- Monitor
and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act
as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all
stakeholders (partners, faculty, workshop participants, donors. j
- Use
project management tools to monitor budget, plans and expenses
- Draft
all appropriate legal paperwork
- Liaise
with suppliers/vendors locally
- Produce
project reports and other documentation as may be required.
Requirements
- BS/BA
in a related field and/or MPH. MD or Nurse will be a plus
- At
least 5 years of experience in project management in health,
preferentially Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health
- Previous
experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of
projects /training and education projects
- Excellent
internal communication skills
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
- Solid
organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
skills
- Strong
working knowledge of Microsoft Office
