Job Summary: The production supervisor is responsible for weighing, compounding, filling and packaging areas of production and is directly involved in the planning and execution of operations to ensure cost effective fulfillment and delivery of quality products to the distribution center.

- Set
daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate targets to production
personnel
- Organize
workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules and outlining
duties
- Ensure
production raw and pack availability for the seamless execution of the
production plan
- Monitor
efficiency on the production floor and identify, implement and monitor
improvements as part of continuous improvement
- Monitor
the work of production personnel, provide feedback and perform coaching,
counseling or disciplinary actions.
- Prepare
and submit reports on individual and overall performance
- Ensure
production documentation and associated SAP transactions are completed
accurately
- Perform
and document routine checks for production output according to determined
quality specifications
- Ensure
adherence to quality guidelines for production
- Maintain
production SOPs and ensure adherence to procedures
- Train
production personnel how to safely operate machinery
- Enforce
strict safety guidelines for the safe operation and use of equipment
- Liaise
with maintenance team to schedule routine maintenance
Knowledge,
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in engineering or manufacturing
- At
least 2 years GMP manufacturing operations supervisory work experience
- Strong
leadership and teamwork skills
- Demonstrate
decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong
computer skills; SAP and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience.
- Effective
interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness
to work a flexible schedule including weekend work as assigned.
