Role Purpose: Responsible for coordinating recruitments, ensuring employee journey for employees on probation is followed to the latter as well as robust implementation of internship program.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaises
with various departments to collate and analyze their recruitment needs
- Prepares
tools for short listing of applicants
- Short
lists candidates in conjunction with requesting departments &prepares
the report
- Manage
the graduate trainee program from end to end i.e. By liaising with the
User departments to establish their requests; the partnered Universities
to identify students due for internship in tandem with the company’s
needs/request.
- Assists
in co-ordination of interviews; Prepare interview reports as well as
communication of interview feedback to candidates.
- Liaises
with Learning &Development function for induction program of new hires
to ensure plans for onboarding are consistent with the reporting dates
- Assists
in new hires onboarding
- Followup
on reference checks for all new hires prior to confirmation.
- Manage
employee internal mobility by preparing correspondances i.e staff
transfers, confirmations, appointments, redesignations, promotions,
deployments, etc.
- Management
of temporary and contract staff including DSA, SME- SA and long term
contracted staff. This includes sourcing of staff, preparation of their
engagement contracts, managing their exits and processing their
monthly/weekly or daily wages in line with the user departments
requirements.
- Update
staff information on the HRM system
- Receive
and keep a record of all unsolicited job applications
- Maintain
safe custody of current and former employees files
- Prepare
and file correspondences in employee files and avail the files when
requested
- Keep
records of file movements for both current and closed registries
- Maintain
electronic database of employee files by scanning and saving all employees
key details in their respective soft copy folders
- Prepare
weekly/periodic recruitment status reports as required
- Any
other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Academic/
Professional Qualifications
- Degree
in HR related subject/social sciences
- HR
professional qualifications is required
- A
minimum of two years relevant experience in a similar role is required
