Personal Assistant to Representative performs senior-level secretarial duties as well as organizational and coordinating functions; is responsible for protocol matters and the effective functioning of the office of the Representative.

Job Purpose: The Finance Associate post is located in the Kenya Country Office and reports to the Finance Analyst. 

The Finance Associate ensures the effective functioning of financial operations and systems in support of the programme and office management. 

He/she works closely with programme and project staff providing financial monitoring and analysis of projects and advising managers on expenditure trends and implementation rates.

Post Title: Programme Specialist ASRH

Direct Supervisor: UNFPA Deputy Representative
 
Job Purpose: The ASRH Specialist post is located in the UNFPA Kenya Country Office and reports to the Deputy Representative. 

The ASRH Specialist substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA activities in the areas of Reproductive Health and Gender Equality with an emphasis on integrated Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) including prevention of HIV and AIDS and mainstreaming of young people’s issues throughout the programme. 

S/he oversees programme formulation, implementation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks. 

S/he leads the programme team in providing technical advice and support to the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and collaborates with the Country Office’s operations and administrative support staff. 

S/he oversees the achievement of programme results by ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are applied by programme team, and appropriate monitoring and oversight mechanisms and systems are established and implemented.
 
Duration: One year, renewable subject to funding and satisfactory performance
