Responsibilities
- To
manage work queues to ensure all delinquent queues are actioned.
- Make
contact with defaulting customers either by calling or visiting them with
an aim of negotiating a settlement of the arrears
- Monitoring
collection accounts allocated on a daily basis and take appropriate
actions to ensure that the collection portfolio remains within accepted
limits through the application of sound credit judgment within policy
guidelines.
- Investigate
and resolve any customer queries and complaints through verbal or written
correspondence in line with 4G policies.
- Achieve
the monthly collection targets.
- Identify
and escalate deceased or disabled customers to collections management for
review or collection termination.
- Perform
field visits and submit reports/acti0n plans to recover debt.
- Work
closely with the branches on their bad debt portfolio
- Other
ad hoc tasks as defined by the Collections Manager
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required.
- 1-2
years of collections experience
- A
good level of general education – Diploma or related degree qualification
- Computer
literacy
- Previous
experience in retail or financial services will be an added advantage
- Fluent
in English (written and verbal) and Swahili

- Daily and monthly account reconciliations
Administration and Logistics
- Ensuring that all branches are well equipped
with necessary tools of trade i.e. branch kit out of both old and new
branches.
- Ensure the branches have all the necessary
stationery and signage in a timely manner to ensure they conduct business
effectively.
- In charge of branch licensing and renewals for
both premises and signage.
- Liaising with the courier to deliver supplies
where they are needed
- Organizing company events.
Procurement
- Maintaining and updating all terms and
conditions and contracts pertaining to the company’s suppliers.
- Process initial purchase requests, quotation
requisitions and purchase orders and follow up with vendors for delivery.
Marketing and Branding
- Organize and participate in marketing
initiatives for various branches.
- Liaise with Branch Manager to provide
marketing insights and intelligence to HQ during marketing operations.
Academic & trade qualifications
- A Degree in Administration, marketing, or
related field.
