Job Title: Trade Marketer

Position reports to: National Sales Manager
Positions that report to this role: Marketing Assistant
Evaluates customer research, market
conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed and
overseas all marketing, advertising activities so as to bring growth in sales
volumes by building all the brands.
Key Responsibilities and
Accountabilities:
- Provide marketing support to all business
units ensuring judicious utilization of the marketing spend for effective
implementation of activities i.e. product launches and promotion
strategies.
- specifying market requirements for current and
future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits
to customers and non-customers
- Track marketing performance and effectiveness
of the programs across all segments of the business and ensure customer
and product profitability objectives are met.
- Develop a market intelligence platform that
will improve the overall decision making process, both for strategic and
day to day marketing operations decisions.
- To develop and manage the marketing department
budget, ensuring of all marketing activity within agreed budget.
- Identify areas of diversification and new
business development potential by increasing sales coverage area per
square kilometer and also strengthen presence locally, nationally and
regionally.
- Provide regular reports as required on
customer and competitors activities and market trends
- Pursue personal development of skills and
knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A graduate from recognized university with a
degree in business related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or
related field in the FMCG Sector/Marketing Agency
- Some proven managerial skills and experience

- Must have leadership and managerial skills
- A passionate, self-motivated, energetic,
