Vacancy: Executive Assistant

Ujamaa – Africa, is a Kenyan slum based NGO that promotes economic empowerment, personal security and health for vulnerable women and girls. 

The Executive Assistant will ensure effective operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.

Must possess the following skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Natural Leadership Ability 
  • Team building skills, Humility 
  • Analytical problem solving skills and decision making skills 
  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills 
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Very effective organizational skills 
  • Effective written communications skills 
  • Computer skills- ability to troubleshoot, operate spreadsheet and word processing programs 
  • Proper time management 
  • Ability to relate with all kinds of people.

Job Entails:
  • Setting up interviews, appointments and keeping necessary records.
  • Filing and Document Management.
  • Office Administration scheduling
  • Program Follow-up of tasks and activities
Must have:
  • Have had a B+ or higher in High school
  • History in community based work
  • Leadership experience in either High school or College
  • Degree or Diploma in any relevant field
