NMG would like to recruit a highly motivated and professional individual as
 Head of Digital Division

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful incumbent will lead the Digital team in new products design and development, sales of digital products and work closely with Broadcasting and Print Divisions in the development of Digital content.

S/He will also be responsible for:
  • Development of suitable and sustainable strategies in Digital communication
  • Revenue generation.
  • Budget planning and management
  • Development and implementation of projects aimed at identifying new innovative digital products such as new web sites, Apps, Portals and other web assets.
  • Design and promotion of e-commerce through online transactions and e-classifieds
  • Production of Web only content
  • Play a leading role in digital convergence in conjunction with Print and Broadcasting.
  • Leading the Digital division team ensuring that the team sustains a high performance culture, talent management and retention.
The successful candidate will be required to have a University degree from a recognised institution and a post graduate qualification in ICT or a related professional field. 

S/he will need to have a minimum of eight years’ experience in the Media industry with emphasis in the digital space with commercial knowledge of web and internet based products.

S/he will have proven leadership skills and experience in leading a multi-talented team comprising of senior managers and technical experts

Key responsibilities of the job:
  • Prompt collection of debts
  • Ability to analyse debt and support them with relevant documents
  • Submission of required reports in time
  • Efficient handling of any other assigned matters relating to debt collection.
Experience and knowledge required:


  • Proven track record of debt collection.
  • 2 years working experience in the region of interest
  • Clear understanding of county business process.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Senior Service Desk Analyst

Job Summary: This job holder will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost effective first and second line support to end users within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing and maintaining IT services related servers, routinely maintaining the servers and ensuring the security of systems.

Specific Job Responsibilities 

  • Providing first and second level technical incident and problem management support services to end users in local and regional offices;
  • Supporting and administering existing Back-Office Server Applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 2012/2008/2003 Servers, SharePoint, and SQL among others;
  • Participating in IT related projects as assigned by management; 
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting Software, Computers, Mobile devices;
  • Enforcing, maintaining, supporting and administering the existing IT security systems, services and policies;
  • Configuring and deploying new IT equipment such as PCs, printers, modems and laptops;
  • Escalating problems as appropriate to the external service support providers in order to ensure consistent and timely resolution.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements: 
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university 
  • 3 years prior technical end user/back office support experience 
  • ICDL or MOUS and A+ or N+ certification or equivalent 
  • MCSE or MCITP Certified.

Network Engineer

Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible for managing and maintaining all regional LAN, VLAN, WAN, Satellite, wireless network equipment, VOIP and voicemail systems, air-conditioning, electrical power supply and associated back-up facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, configuring and administering WAN, LANs, VoIP, PBX, VSAT, switches and routers;
  • Attending to reported cases of IT and support equipment breakdown and restoring functionality;
  • Participating in IT related projects as assigned by management; 
  • Supporting Electrical Power and Air Conditioning Systems; 
  • Carrying out planned equipment maintenance as per the schedules; 
  • Supervising IT service providers to ensure that their service level agreement maintenance is carried out satisfactorily;
  • Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the NMG’s network; and 
  • Providing the Service Support Manager with relevant standard specifications to facilitate decision making in equipment upgrade.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements: 
  • University Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university 
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience 
  • CCNA Certification 
  • CCNP certification preferred.
