Finance Officer Job in Kenya

Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:
 

Job Title: Finance Officer - Partners
 
Duty Station: Marsabit
 
Duration: Open Ended Contract
 
Job Summary: The incumbent will enable Concern’s Partners to demonstrate proper financial management and optimal use of available funds in a transparent manner. 

This will include pre-assessment of partner financial capacity, monitoring of partner expenditure and performance, partner and staff capacity building in line Concern’s financial policy and procedures.

Job Specification:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA III or equivalent professional certification
  • At least two (2) years’ experience working in an international NGO. Experience in auditing is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in at least one accounting software, Word and Excel applications
  • Excellent ability to pay attention to details and a team player who is able to work under pressure
