The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is the professional organization for Certified Public Accountants in Kenya established in 1978 by the Accountants Act, CAP 531. 

Since then, ICPAK has been dedicated to development and regulation of the accountancy profession in Kenya so as to enhance its contribution and that of its members to national economic growth and development. 

In its endeavor on institutional strengthening, ICPAK is seeking for a dynamic, self-driven and results oriented individual to fit in a team meant to make it a world class Professional Accountancy Organization.
 
Job Profile: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Manager, Human Resource and Administration shall:
  • Maintain and enhance ICPAK's human resource by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices.
  • Overseeing the development, implementation and review of HR & Administration policies and procedures, strategies and systems aligning them to ICPAK’s strategic plan and best practice
  • In charge of the administration of benefits and entitlements of staff including medical, group life insurance coverage, group personal accident and pension schemes.
  • Developing and monitoring the human resource and administration budgets
  • In charge of the administration of monthly payroll and remuneration reviews for all employees
  • Conducting annual training need analysis and aligning to appropriate training plan
  • Facilitating training and development of ICPAK employees and overall enhancement of productivity
  • Managing employee relations and grievance processes
  • Ensuring a conducive work environment and overseeing employee welfare, health and safety
  • Overseeing recruitment and selection processes, orientation and induction of new staff
  • Coordinating the performance management process
  • In charge of overall administrative support across operational departments
Person Profile
  • 5 years relevant experience in management of Human Resource function
  • Expert understanding and working knowledge of Kenyan Labour Laws
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Navision ERP will be an added advantage
  • High level report writing skills is essential
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Human Resource or Social Sciences
  • A member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in good standing is a highly preferred requirement
  • A higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Masters degree in Business Management, Strategic Management or Human Resources Management will be an added advantage
