1. Senior Procurement Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
The officer is
responsible for:
- planning
and co-ordination of supplies management services;
- enforcement
of Government regulations, systems and procedures;
- preparation
of supplies estimates of expenditure and control of Vote;
- initiation
of policy, review and updating of existing regulations, supplies
management instructions, inspection, training and development of the
supplies personnel.
- receiving
requisitions and specifications from users, doing tendering, and
acquisition of goods and services;
- documentation
of goods/services, and custody of documents and goods; and,
- commissioning
of procured services, issuing of goods, and retiring of boarded goods.
Requirement for Appointment:
- served
as Senior Procurement Officer for at least 5 years or equivalent position
in the public and/or private sector;
- Bachelor’s
degree in a procurement related field;
- relevant
Master’s degree will be an added advantage;
- Post graduate
diploma in procurement/supplies management;
- Shown
merit in job performance; and
- must be
a registered Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management(KISM)
2. Procurement / Purchasing Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities
- procurement
of stores;
- advising
on rationing of stores where demand exceeds supply; and,
- recommending
disposal of unserviceable stores.
- receiving
requisitions and specifications from users, doing tendering, and

of goods/services, and custody of documents and goods;
Requirement for appointment
- Served
as Procurement Officer or an equivalent position in either the public or
the private sector for at least 3 years;
- Degree
in procurement related field;
- Proof
of merit in job performance; and
- Be a
registered member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
3. Assistant Internal Auditor

Duties and
Responsibilities
An Assistant Internal
Auditor will be directly under the Internal Auditor and shall be responsible
for a major activities/section of the Assembly Service such as procurement and
stores, payroll and personnel records, cash and budgetary control and shall be
responsible for:
- reviewing
and developing audit techniques and procedures for systems audits;
- prepare
and update audit guidelines and programmes; and,
- draft
preliminary audit reports queries and observations for the departmental
heads consideration; and
- perform
any other duty assigned by the management.
Requirements for Appointment
- Served
for a minimum period of three (3) years as Internal Auditor or an
equivalent position in either the public or private sector and possess a
university degree relevant to Audit function such as Commerce, Accounting,
Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science and in
possession of CPA K; or
- Served
for a minimum period of three (3) years as Internal Auditor or an
equivalent position in either the public or private sector and possess CPA
II or its equivalent; and Demonstrated capabilities and a high degree of
competence in conducting and supervising both financial and management
audit.
4. Accountant II

Duties and
Responsibilities:
- collation
of financial estimates;
- verification
of payment vouchers in accordance with the laid down rules and
regulations;
- general
accounting work involving book-keeping knowledge and routine accounting
entries;
- determination
of aggregate expenditure;
- control
of expenditure and below-the-line group of accounts; and,
- supervision
of the revenue collection processes.
Requirements for Appointment:
- For
direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must possess a pass in Part
II of the Certified Public Accounts (Kenya) Examination and a Bachelor of
Commerce degree (accounting option) from a recognized
university/institution or any other acceptable professional accountancy
qualification by virtue of which the holder is exempted from Part II of
the Certified Public Accountants (Kenya) Examination; and
- Must
have served in a relevant position for not less than 5 years.
5. Accountant III

Requirements for
appointments
- A KCSE
Certificate or equivalent;
- A Clean
valid driving license Class A B C E and PSV license;
- A
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigations Department
(CID);
- Five
(5) years driving experience in Grade 7 or comparable position, three of
which must be accident free;
- Proven
ability to supervise and coordinate staff;
- A
Certificate in First Aid from a recognized institution;
- Occupational
Trade Test I for drivers;
- A
Suitability Test for Drivers from the relevant Government Ministry;
- Defensive
V.I.P. Training;
- Public
Relations Training;
- Relevant
training from the National Youth Service(NYS) will be an added advantage
