Chemonics
International Inc., a leading international consulting firm based in
Washington, D.C. with more than 20 years of experience in Kenya, seeks a chief
of party and experienced health professionals for an anticipated USAID -funded
health services delivery program in Kenya.
We expect
that positions will be based in Mombasa.
We are
looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives
of people around the world.
All
candidates must possess a degree in a relevant field and English fluency is
required.
Experience
in Kenya or East Africa is preferred.
Chief of Party
- Advanced degree in public health, health policy, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ of senior-level experience designing, implementing, and managing health projects in international settings
- Extensive knowledge of health service delivery; familiarity with health areas such as HIV/AIDS, reproductive health and family planning, maternal child health, and TB is preferred
- Experience working collaboratively with national and county-level government agencies, host-country governments and counterparts, and international donor agencies; USAID experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage relationships with counterparts, beneficiaries, subcontractors, staff, and USAID
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
