Officer
Tenwek High
School is a three-streamed Extra County Public School within Bomet County.
The
Candidate should meet the requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution of
Kenya.
The Job:
Reporting to the School Principal, the job holder will be responsible for
ensuring effective management of the school finances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise members of the Non-Teaching staff, including payroll administration.
- Be familiar with and maintain all school accounting records according to GAAP.
- In liaison with the Principal, prepare annual budget using laid down guidelines
- Ensure school information management system is running and up-to-date.
- Coordinate procurement under the guidance of school management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of CPA (final), with BCOM (accounting option) serving as an added advantage
- Experience with accounting procedures in an educational institution for at least five (5) years.
- Computer literate and conversant with the use of ICT in Financial Management.
- Excellent communications and supervisory skills.
